Cherry Resort is a place in heart of nature.Specifically its situated in Middle of tea garden ,If you are a nature lover, it’s the place to visit.
Normally resorts in tea gardens are very costly .Cherry resort is an exception .It fits in Budget accommodation category as the tariffs are  From Rs 3000 to Rs 4800 per night for a couple.
Location: 10/10
it is situated in heart of Tea Garden. If you love shopping malls or  big Complexes then it’s a disappointment . If you are nature lover you will be delighted to see the resort.

Hotel Architecture: 7/10
There a lot free spaces  in the sides and the rooms are spacious too.The build quality is just normal and cant be considered good.

Great views of  Kanchanjunga and tea garden.The views were one of the best ever seen by us.

Big Spacious rooms with geysers and big bathrooms.TV's provided in the room were small,dysfunctional and showed only few channels.

Sometimes Cold food was served.You asked to serve in restaurant and they serve in room as restaurant is too crowded.Food not tasty.All the chicken dishes are same.
Overall: 7/10 
A place you must Visit .For just 1-2 Nights
Tip : Take rooms facing back as you can view kanchenjunga from there.

Hotel  Nettle & Fern is the hotel for travelers who want great value for the money
Location: 10/10
it is situated at walking distance from  MG road,not on MG road.Bigest benefit is that you can join hustle & bustle of MG Road whenever you want  and come to quite place after that.The location is simply Superb.

Hotel Architecture: 5/10
If you are fond of free spaces the hotel is not the one where you should stay .But free spaces come at cost in heart of capital city.Space is a problem in Hotel.The best room is at Top.Sorry if you expect a lift.If you are able to climb 60 stairs then its fine .

Service :  7/10
Timing was excellent.Gave time for Dinner  in room and diner arrived 1 min before time.Excellent.
Restaurant is good but staff is bit immature.Did not give water with  diner .Provided only on demand .Breakfast was cold (it was complimentary and Buffet system )

Variety of food: 10/10
Ask anything you relish and it will be served.Delicious and in enough quantity to fill your belly.

Expensive and cheap options are available outside just 10 m away

Great views of  Kanchanjunga and Rumtek .Ranka is also visible  from Hotel

House Keeping : 10/10
One of the cleanest hotels ever seen.Linen was spotless,Whites were perfect without stains

One of the best budget hotels ever seen
