Taxi rates New Jalpaiguri (NJP) to Gangtok Oct 2012
Dont believe the old rates given on internet .
For Small Car (Wagon R,Indica) Charges are From Rs 2000 to 3000.
They vary according to influx of tourists .
If you are going during holidays you will get prices at upper band
For Xylo or other comparative Big luxury vehicle Rates are 3000-4000.
For Tata Sumo Rates will be bit lower.
Important Tip : Ask your Hotel in Gangtok to send vehicle for you.
Because in Gangtok outside taxis are not allowed in city.You need to take local taxi from outskirts of Gangtok to reach your Hotel.
